The Carbis Bay Crew are a motley gang of mine explorers. This film documents the struggles and brotherhood of the group. The score blends folk traditions and electronica, accompanying the crew into a forgotten land beneath the Wild West of Cornwall.

Marc Chapman is the mini golf world champion. He seeks to claim his third consecutive championship on the most brutal course in mini golf against a set of bloodthirsty rivals. Nerves of steel, a ruthless mentality ,and the graceful, deadly swing of a genius-madman are required to be crowned once more as King Putt.

The score uses synthwave and rock combined with a nod to elite-sports-doc style soundtracks to elevate the drama (and comedy) necessary to accompany one of the greatest sporting achievements of the 21st century.

A TALE OF TWO HOARDS

In Britain, ancient treasure is being stolen in the dead of night. Those that steal it are known as ‘Nighthawks.’ John is a Landowner. Shane has been branded a Nighthawk. This film chronicles the battle for the ownership of history.

The score is a tangle of folk percussion, cello, theremin and Carnyx (ancient Celtic warhorn) to represent the eclectic history of East Anglia and the ironic nature of the film. The final cue is an original arrangement of Jerusalem.

An ornithologist embedded in a colony of shearwaters on the tiny island of Linosa in the Mediterranean battles to change the fortunes of the birds’ declining population. His biggest challenge is to win the hearts and minds of the locals, who are determined to continue their age-old tradition of collecting and eating the seabirds’ eggs.

The score combines melodic and rhythmic Mediterranean and Sicilian folk traditions against an atmospheric, dreamy backdrop of guitars, piano, synths and strings.
