Following the tragic death of his pregnant wife, a psychotherapist heads down a shadowy path as he grapples with an inescapable emotional numbness. One day, he hits a dog in his car and has a momentary and intoxicating wave of feeling that he then begins to attempt to recreate.

Shakuhachi flute, pulsating organ and strings using extended techniques play jarring and discordant passages that accompany the protagonist’s grim spiral in psychopathy.
